Brian Harman was in a serious relationship with his girlfriend, Kelly Van Slyke, a former radiation therapist. They dated for a while before making the decision to spend the rest of their lives together. They hadn’t mentioned how they met, when they began dating, or when they got engaged.
After becoming engaged, they planned a November wedding, but the date clashed with the Georgia-Aubrun football match, and he was certain that most of their guests would not attend because of the game.
