Tonight’s WWE RAW will be headlined by the 20th Anniversary Celebration for Raw Tag Team Champion Randy Orton. Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be returning for the first time since dropping the title to Bianca Belair and more!
1. Becky Lynch makes her return to RAW
Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is set to return to RAW for the first time since losing her title to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38.
It is assumed that the Raw Women’s Championship match tonight will set up Big Time Becks’ return and challenge for the title again at WrestleMania Backlash. But there has been a lot of speculation that she won’t be jumping into the title picture.
Yesterday at WWE Stunner Sunday Live, Even Bianca Belair defended her title against Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley. Before this match, Lynch had mentioned that she would be coming to RAW with the title in her hand, but I guess that won’t be the case. It will be interesting to see what is at stake for her.
2. Hometown star and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defends her title against Sonya Deville
This week’s biggest match-up on the show will be Bianca Belair defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville. While it was Sasha Banks who she beat last year, she got the revenge against Becky Lynch this year.
This feud with Deville will set the platform for her at Wrestlemania Backlash. It is likely to say that Belair will retain the title with a comfortable finish, but with Lynch out of the title picture, this feud will extend till WrestleMania Backlash.
3. Omos and Bobby Lashley to face off in an arm-wrestling contest
The All-Mighty has become the babyface on Monday Night Raw, and he will be facing off against his new rival Omos in an arm wrestling with his old nemesis MVP by Omos’ side.
MVP will look to unlock the potential in Omos the same way he did to Lashley when he helped him win the WWE Champion. With this arm-wrestling contest this week, it is pretty sure that the feud will likely cumulate at WrestleMania Backlash.
4. AJ Styles continues to feud with Edge
The mind games between AJ Styles and Edge continue with Damian Priest joining the mix has made it more complicated. But, unfortunately, AJ Styles hasn’t been able to do that yet.
Edge rechallenged Styles, and the latter has accepted that. AJ Styles has been a torturing month, and he will look to end that at WrestleMania Backlash.
5. Randy Orton celebrates his 20th Anniversary in WWE
Randy Orton will be celebrating his 20th Anniversary in WWE. Orton made his official TV debut with a win over Hardcore Holly on the April 25, 2002 edition of SmackDown.
Only a few superstars have achieved what Orton has achieved in his career. He has become an all-time great and is a 15-time World Champion. This will be one of the show’s focal points as the whole main roster will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary.
