On Sunday, Yordan was out of the lineup against Oakland and went to Houston since his previously injured right hand is troubling him again, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reported.
Yordan won’t miss Sunday’s game, but the next 3 games in Anaheim against the Angels. The Astros hope to have Yordan back later in the week against the A’s, but remember that the All-Star break is immediately after that series, so there’s a risk of Yordan missing the entire week.

Yordan Álvarez went back to Houston for treatment after being placed on the 10-day injured list due to a right-hand injury that has become worse, according to manager Dusty Baker.
Yordan hurt his hand on June 18 against the Chicago White Sox, and since then, he has been dealing with soreness and inflammation. The Astros expect him to miss the next 2 series and possibly come back after the All-Star break.

Yordan Alvarez Wife
Yordan Alvarez is married to his wife, Monica Quiros. The couple got married in 2018. Monica was born in February 1998 in Camaguey, Cuba. She later moved to Tampa, Florida, with her family, where she went to A.P Leto High School. Yordan and Monica have two kids, Mia and Jordan. Mia was born on November 6, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
