Justin Milagros Machado commonly known as Justina Machado is a famous American actress. She was born on 6^th September 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. She started her acting career from television series. She has done many films, TV series,  and theatres. From her childhood, she always admires becoming an actress and used to participate in every drama during her school days. She is well known for her act in “One Day at a Time”, a sitcom series on Netflix. Apart from this, she has done many blockbuster movies and series. Currently, her film named “Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It” which is a documentary film and a TV series named “Muppets Haunted Mansion” got released in the present year.

Career:

Justina Machado used to perform in Latino Chicago Theatre Company before coming to the film industry which helped her a lot as she had a chance to experience and for which she was able to take a position in Hollywood Film Industry. For her work, she had to shift to Los Angeles in 1996. She made her debut in a TV series named “NYPD Blue” as Elsa and in a movie named “No One Would Tell” as Val Cho. 

Because of her excellent acting skills, she got consecutive films. In 1997, she appeared as Carmen Rodriguez in “She’s So Lovely”. Before that, in 1993, she was seen in two TV series namely, “ABC Afterschool Special” and “Missing Persons”.

In 2001, she got a side role for the film named “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” and the leading character for “Sticks” as Maria. In the next year, her two films got released which are “Dragonfly”, “Full Frontal” and TV series including “The Johnny Chronicles”, “Strong Medicine”. A TV series named “Six Feet Under” where she played the role of Vanessa Diaz got her Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. It was a life-changing moment for her as it was her first award as an actress.

Not only acting in films, series, and theatres but also, she has given voice to many characters in series including “Elena of Avalor”, “Gears of War 4” and “Harley Quinn”. She is one of the most talented actresses in the Hollywood industry. Her splendid acting with variations made all her fans fall for her. She was one of the contestants in Dancing with the Stars (season 29) which happened in 2020.

Besides American films and series, she appeared in “1-800-Missing”, a Canadian series, where her character’s name was Sunny Estrada.

Early Life, School, and Education:

Justina Machado is a talented girl from Chicago, Illinois but later her parents shifted to Puerto Rico. She took admission to Lane Technical College Prep High School in 1986 and completed her schooling there. Then, in 1990, from Lane Tech, she completed her graduation. During her school time, when she used to get leisure time, she loved to perform at the Latino Chicago Theatre Company. After completion of her graduation, she moved to New York for acting.

Justina Machado was born on 6^th September 1972 in a not-so-rich family. Her father was Ismael Machado and her mother was Alicia Morales Ruiz. Her mother was from Puerto Rico and her father was from Chicago. She had three siblings. But later, her parents got divorced and her mother remarried. Her mother had three children. Justina Machado is still unmarried but had several affairs with Emanuel Gironi and Christian Svensson. She had many family problems including poverty but she only focused on her career and for that, she deserves to be where she is now.

Justina is about 5 feet 1 inch that is about 1.55 meters and weighs around 58kg. She has dark brown colored eyes and curly hair.
