Every Change That’s Included in Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road’s Final Update

Kingdom Hearts Dark Road has finally concluded over two years after initially starting, as the mobile app has now released the final main update, allowing for the game to be played offline. So, for those of you who have been patiently waiting for this update to come out, what exactly can you expect to see? Well, lucky for you, we have the answer, as this is all of the changes that have come to the Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road app with its final update.

Every Change That’s Included in Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road’s Final Update

Here is the list of all the changes that were made:

  • Chapters 4-8 are now available for Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, which includes the final 35 quests for the game.
  • Theater Mode is now included in Dark Road, letting gamers rewatch all the major cutscenes they have previously seen.
  • Two new World Battle modes in Scala ad Caelum, allowing players to fill out their Dark Road enemy albums. (Note: Must progress through the story to unlock both)
  • Five-Star World Battle modes in both Agrabah and Wonderland, allowing gamers to participate in even more challenging fights. (Note: Again, players need to progress through the story to unlock these)
  • In-game purchases are no longer available for Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, with all cards available to be purchased at any time with DP.
  • As was the case with a previous update, Kingdom Hearts Union X is still available to access, but the main game is unplayable. Instead, players can only view cutscenes in Theater Mode, access the Classic Kingdom minigames, and view their Battle Record. There is still the option to customize your character, along with the ability to change your Keyblade, Title, Name, and Union at any time.

Please remember, both games are now entirely offline, something that was originally promised to come out in Sept. 2021 before receiving multiple delays. Thankfully, Kingdom Hearts fans can now experience at least the full story of both of these critical games ahead of Kingdom Hearts IV and Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, the latter of which is set to come out sooner rather than later.

That is everything you need to know about the changes made to the Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road app with its final release. Craving for more Kingdom Hearts content in the meantime? There’s a plethora of coverage on Twinfinite, with some included below.
