Here are the SmackDown results for the 13th of May, 2024.
Butch will take on Kofi Kingston on the latest episode of SmackDown in what promises to be a physical battle.
RK-Bro will be on the show to confront The Bloodline and challenge the SmackDown Tag Team Champions to a tag team title unification match.
RK-Bro made their way to the ring
Randy Orton said The Usos do not have the balls to make their own decisions. So he called out Roman Reigns and made RK-Bro’s intentions clear as they wanted to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. Riddle gave credit to Reigns for The Bloodline’s win over them and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash but he did not mince words and wanted to get the tag team unification match made official.
Sami Zayn came out to the ring with a Bloodline shirt on. He said that RK-Bro would lose the Raw Tag Team Championships if they faced The Usos so it is better the Raw Superstar go back to the red brand and not come back to SmackDown ever again.
Zayn stated that Nakamura tried to interfere in The Bloodline’s ways but he was taught a lesson last week. RK-Bro might encounter the same fate as well. Orton said that Zayn is acting like someone who takes decisions on behalf of The Bloodline and Zayn reluctantly agreed. Orton asked Zayn to face Riddle in a match and if he loses. they get their Tag Team Unification match. Zayn agreed but did not want to face Riddle on this week’s show. He rolled out of the ring and said he will talk to Paul Heyman and the Tribal Chief and maybe face Riddle next week.
Adam Pearce came out and made the match official but said Zayn could not make matches with implications involving The Bloodline without the dominant faction’s consent.
Sami Zayn versus Riddle
Riddle started quicker off the blocks. Zayn was too focused on Orton on the outside. Riddle delivered dropkicks and dominated the match until Zayn managed to apply a headlock. The heel took control of the match after pushing Riddle off the top rope and into the barricade.
Zayn went up to the top rope but Riddle caught him there and tried to deliver a Super RKO but Zayn dropped him down. Zayn jumped from the top rope but was met with a high knee. The Locker room Leader delivered a Michinoku driver but Riddle kept fighting on. Riddle nailed a powerslam and followed it up with a DDT like The Viper but before he could nail the RKO, Zayn rolled out of the ring. Riddle went to catch him but Zayn tossed him out to the timekeeper’s area and returned back to the ring to hope to win via count out. However, Orton willed Riddle on to beat the count.
Riddle made it to the ring and ended the match with a Bro Derek.
Winner – Riddle
Grade – B
Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Paul Heyman were watching the match in the Head of the Table’s locker room. Reigns asked why the hell Orton and Riddle are on his show as The Bloodline already beat them.
The Usos were frustrated at RK-Bro saying that they cannot make their own decisions. The brothers said they are not the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions without a reason. They said RK-Bro will acknowledge Roman Reigns. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion said RK-Bro needs to be given an answer.
