Tonight’s WWE Raw will see The Bloodline coming and building up to their match against RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre for the WrestleMania Backlash. It is the go-home episode of the red brand.
1. Mustafa Ali to confront Austin Theory for the US title?
Last Week on RAW saw The Miz TV featuring United States Champion Theory as the Guest. Unfortunately, as he was getting along, Theory was interrupted by the returning Mustafa Ali, who asked for his WWE release months ago.
However, Ali did proceed to beat the two time WWE Grand Slam Champion. It was a perfect return fight for Ali and a chance to get into the title picture. This week we might see him involved more and starting a feud with Theory.
2. Omos and Bobby Lashley face off one more time before the clash at WrestleMania Backlash.
Last week Omos faced Bobby in an arm-wrestling contest which ended with Lashley getting over Omos once again. But immediately after the win, The Almighty was attacked from behind, and Omos assaulted him.
The Rivalry is setting up perfectly for the clash at WrestleMania Backlash. So many things will depend on who stands tall this week which will affect a lot of Backlash results.
3. Becky Lynch and Asuka build up?
Becky Lynch returned to RAW last week for the first time since WrestleMania 38. It was also the first time that she didn’t have a championship title with her in three years.
However, it was a bit of a shock for her when Asuka’s music hit after nine months. It was Asuka whom Lynch gave her title before going on a hiatus due to her pregnancy. But now it seems like a new feud has generated between these two as Asuka flicked Lynch’s nose, which disrespected Big Time Becks.
This week we will see them together again, facing each other in some mic talk. We might see some action as well.
4. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins go face to face one last time
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are set to face each other again at WrestleMania Backlash. Rhodes returned to WrestleMania after six years and won the bout against Rollins.
Last week they were involved in an eight-man tag team match where Rhodes’ side came victorious, and he also had a reunion with his former stablemate Randy Orton. So it will be interesting to see what happens tonight between them.
5. The Bloodline is set to take the Reigns of Raw tonight
Roman Reigns and The Usos were set to take over Monday Night Raw tonight. This was confirmed after a surprise clash from SmackDown, where it was almost guaranteed that Reigns would be getting an opponent for WrestleMania Backlash.
The Usos were set to Unify their tag team titles against RK-Bro at the Backlash. However, last week on SmackDown, things got heated between The Bloodline and RK-Bro contract signing as Drew McIntyre emerged teased as the next challenger for Reigns’s Universal title. This resulted in the title stipulation being off, and it will be a six-man tag team match this weekend.
It will be interesting to see who gets the upper hand in today’s confrontation ahead of the main premium event.
