With Log Horizon having successfully transported fans into the video game world and developing the adventures of Shiroe and the rest of the alliance for three seasons, there is much anticipation for a fourth season of the anime. Having concluded its latest run on March 31 last year, the half-length season was definitely not enough for fans. Log Horizon Season 4 Release Date
Despite its popularity, there is no confirmation of a new season of Log Horizon just yet. Although the first and second seasons were released a year apart, the third season only came out about seven years later. Much of this has to do with the source material of the anime, which is the light novel series written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara and Mochichi Hashimoto.
The first three seasons covered 12 volumes of the 14-volume series, and although there were two more volumes teased back in 2018, there is no sight of them just yet. Without any new material, it can be difficult to see just how the anime will continue unless it’s being added on from scratch.
