Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2 Buried Memory has now been announced to be released on Aug. 23. the original announcement had it as arriving in late August. Fans don’t have all that much of a wait left, at all.

The most recent patch, 6.1 Newfound Adventure released in early April. This will be the second major patch since the release of Endwalker last December.
