Mandy Harvey is a jazz and pop singer and songwriter, from America. When she was 18 years old, she became deaf following an illness. She was a contestant in season 12 of America’s Got Talent, where she performed the original songs in the competition. Harvey lost her hearing because of the connective tissues disorder Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

Mandy Harvey lost her hearing, due to the disorder of the connective tissue Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Her remaining hearing was lost, when she was 18 years old. She lost her hearing while she majored in vocal music education at Colorado State University. So she left the university. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a sum of inherited disorders that affect your connective tissues, especially your skin, blood vessel walls, and joints. Connective tissue is a mixture of proteins and other substances, which gives strength to your y to your body structures.

Mandy Harvey was born on 2nd January 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio prior to moving to St. Cloud, Florida. She is 34 years old now. She had hearing issues and had undergone many surgeries. When she was a child, she tried to correct them. During her childhood, her family moved to Colorado. She was a singer, throughout her childhood. Mandy’s talent was recognized at Longmont High School.  In 2011 Mandy became the winner of the VSA’s International Young Soloist Award. After Mandy came back to perform at the Kennedy Center. Her third album All of Me was released in 2014. Mandy’s fourth album Nice To Meet You followed in 2019. Her fifth album Paper Cuts released in 2024.

Mandy became depressed and came out from music when she lost full hearing in 2007.  But, with the help of visual tuners, she found a way to check the right pitches in singing. She met jazz pianist Mark Sloniker at Jay’s Bistro in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2008. There she performs regularly. She attended and performed at Dazzle Jazz Lounge in Colorado. She recorded three studio jazz albums. She debuted through the album Smile in 2009. Her second “After You’ve Gone” was released in the year 2010.

Mandy Harvey is the Ambassador for the non-profit organization No barriers to aid the specially challenged people who face difficulties. On 10th May 2024, Mandy Harvey announced her pregnancy. They kept this news secret for a while, because of the difficulties she faced so  she and her husband kept a secret due to issues surrounding her deafness. On 4th June 2024, Harvey and her husband have become parents of a boy named Louis.
