Ada Ameh was a Nigerian actress who has spent more than two decades in the Nigerian movie industry. She was most known for her character as Anita in the movie Domitilla in 1996. The show was an award winning series and she also played the role of Emu Johnson in the show The Johnsons. She acted with Charles Inojie, Chinedu Ikedieze & Olumide Oworu in the show The Johnsons.

Ada Ameh’s daughter is Aladi Ameh. She died two years before her mother in October 2020 after a failed surgery. Ada Ameh later said that her daughter’s death caused her mental health to deteriorate further. Ada Ameh gave birth to her daughter Aladi when she was just 14 years old and raised her as a single parent. Aladi Ameh was 31 years old when she passed away.

Ada Ameh’s daughter Aladi passed away from a surgery that she had done to manage a brain tumour. The surgery did happen but she eventually passed away because she could not manage the tumour. Ada considered her daughter a best friend and a sister as well because she gave birth to Aladi when she was only 14. Ada said, “We practically grew up together and I just saw my world crumble before me, and sometimes I could cry for days.”
