Abiodun Oropo was a Nigerian radio announcer who was referred as “Oyinmomo joojo.” He launched Abiodun Oropo RadioTV. His station is considered one of the tops in Lagos, Nigeria. Podcasts, real-time news updates, sports analysis, and music can all be found on the Abiodun Oropo Radio TV. He is the king of Fuji music and one of Wasiu Ayinde’s most effective promoters. Oropo has additionally worked for renowned radio station Dux FM. The Nigerian Association of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters had him as a prominent member.

Abiodun Oropo passed away on July 9 2024. He was 79 years old. His death was confirmed on a Facebook post. The post said, “Alhaji Abiodun Oropo Oyinlomo passed away yesterday evening, July 9, 2024. May your kind soul find peace.” Many listeners and other radio hosts have posted their messages in response. On Lagos’ Faaji FM, he was the host of a popular Saturday programme.

Abiodun Oropo was 79 years old when he passed away. He has spent almost three years in the broadcasting industry. One Twitter user said, “In the name of Allah, and peace be upon him, ALHAJI ABIODUN OROPO, the terrible news of your passing is a tough pill for me, and I’m sure for many others to swallow. Alhaji, rest in great peace.”

Abiodun Oropo hailed from Iwo City in Osun State. He was a radio broadcaster and a very powerful music businessman. One of the tunes that made Mr. Oropo famous was “Board Members,” a smash song by well-known Juju singer Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi. Oropo prioritised the interests of Nigerian citizens since he considered himself as a public servant.

After a brief illness, Abiodun Oropo passed away. The radio personality has recently been ill, according to The Genius Media, but the illness’s name hasn’t been revealed. The radio hosts’ health deteriorated during the first two days of the prescription’s use. He left in a private office on Ogba Soye Road, close to Abeokuta Road, in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
