Anyone else feel like this week has lasted an eternity? It’s been a particularly slow and tedious seven days for the video game industry, with the sector in a bit of a summer slumber right now. Still, Gamescom is right around the corner, so there’s lots to look forward to later in the month.

You know, I’m bouncing all over the place right now. I’m in the mood for Dead by Daylight at the moment, so I’ll probably spend a chunk of my weekend playing that.

Gonna scratch that XCOM itch with the recent release of Hard West 2 before Marvel’s Midnight Suns, but with the recent news that the DCEU is getting a do-over, I also want to revisit some good ol’ DC games starting with Injustice 2. At least in the video game department DC is not a complete mess, right?
