Call of Duty: Vanguard is entering its last season of content before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 releases in October. Season 5, aptly titled Last Stand, introduces a ton of updates, cosmetics, and gameplay changes to both Vanguard and Warzone. The battle pass introduces a familiar face returning as a new playable character across both titles, and here’s everything you need to know on how to unlock Raul Menendez as well as a bit of backstory on Raul Menendez.
Unlocking Raul Menendez
To unlock Raul Menendez, you must purchase the Season 5 battle pass. As is standard with new operators entering the fold, they are only unlocked through purchasing the battle pass. The standard price for the battle pass is 1000 COD Points which comes out to roughly $10, or you can purchase the premium edition of the battle pass for 2400 COD Points which nets you 25 tier skips.
Purchasing the battle pass grants you install access to the “Ivory Mystique” skin for Raul Menendez. At level 100, you’ll unlock the “Populist Revolutionary” skin for Raul.
Who is Raul Menendez
Fans of Call of Duty, in particular Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, have a long history with Raul Menendez.
Introduced in Black Ops 2 as the main antagonist, Raul Menendez is a Nicaraguan drug lord and leader of the terrorist organization Cordis Die. Menendez’s organization launched a massive attack on the United States as an act of retaliation based on events that took place during his childhood. His revenge ark spanned the course of 50 years and saw him consistently battle legendary Black Ops character, Frank Woods.
