UK Charts: Two Point Campus Drops Out Of Top Ten, Switch Sales Still Impress

Last week’s UK charts saw the meteoric rise of Two Point Campus on Switch, with the Nintendo console accounting for a huge percentage of the game’s sales. While Sega’s university sim has fallen out of the top ten this week (down to number 14, in fact), the Switch has remained the title’s dominant home, with the current sales breakdown sitting as follows:

  • Nintendo Switch – 68%
  • PlayStation 5 – 14%
  • PlayStation 4 – 14%
  • Xbox Series X/S – 4%

Of course, these figures only represent physical, boxed copies of the game and they may be slightly skewed by digital downloads. However, Nintendo’s dominance in this field is nonetheless an impressive feat — especially as it doesn’t include digital sales in its figures.

Two Point Campus’ slip has left a gaping hole at the top of the UK charts this week, and with no major new releases to fill it, Nintendo’s classics have once again assumed their place in the upper bracket of national sales. Nintendo Switch Sports now returns to the number two spot, with titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft demonstrating the popularity of multiplayer and otherwise replayable games.

That’s quite enough chit-chat from us, here’s your look at the UK top ten for this week:
