SDCC this weekend revealed a ton of information about both this phase of the MCU and the one to come. In a swath of reveals, a new Captain America movie was finally announced. Here’s when Captain America: New World Order will come out.
Captain America: New World Release Date
You’ve got quite a wait for this one. Captain America: New World Order will be coming to theaters on May 3, 2024. Told you it was going to be a long wait. This will be the fourth Captain America movie in the MCU.
There are currently not any known details as to what the title could mean. It is likely a continuation of the story told in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The last Captain America film was Captain America: Civil War in 2016. As of Avengers Endgame, the title of Captain America has certainly shifted to Sam Wilson/The Falcon.
While it is highly likely that Captain America/The Falcon will feature in other MCU properties ahead of time, this will be the only possible solo outing. Though, there is a second season of What If…? coming that could change that.
