Pokemon Unite’s first-birthday celebrations just keep on coming, and alongside Buzzwole’s release today, we’ll be able to take part in an electrifying party.
A Pikachu-themed event is about to kick off in Unite. From 5pm PDT today to 1st September 4:59pm PDT, you can join a special stage where you’ll battle out your rivals, with a catch. You’ll all be different Pikachu!
You’re a Pikachu! You’re a Pikachu. EVERYONE is a Pikachu! And not just normal Pikachu or costumed Pikachu, either. Gigantamax Pikachu from Pokémon Sword & Shield will also be there! Will we be able to Gigantamax our own Pikachu in Unite to do this? We’re not sure, but we’d love to squash everyone on the battlefield.
And while the themed arena is adorable, and giant Pikachu is the king, we can’t leave you alone without sharing this positively irresistible artwork advertising the event.
