Hogwarts Legacy has remained shrouded in mystery since it was announced over a year ago. We know it exists, but not much more than that. While we’re all hoping to get some answers then, some people are wondering when is the release date for Hogwarts Legacy? Here’s everything we know so far.
Hogwart’s Legacy Release Date
Hogwart’s Legacy is slated to release on February 20, 2024, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a release date or even a release window at the moment, but the developers mentioned it’ll be announced “soon.”
The game has been delayed, as it was originally supposed to release in Q4 2024, but apparently, the developers at Avalanche Software needed more time to brew this potion.
Considering that Hogwarts Legacy promises to be a massive open-world game with a ton of activities to enjoy one likely shouldn’t be surprised that development may take a bit more than expected.
Hogwarts Legacy will feature spell battles, character progression, potions, herbology, magical beasts, a broomstick and mounts to travel the world, companions to lead, and even housing.
Basically, it promises to include everything that you may expect from a full-fledged Harry Potter experience, even if it’s set much earlier, in the late 1800s.
