For its anticipated reboot, developer Volition has created the biggest open world ever seen in the Saints Row franchise, which understandably has plenty of folks chomping at the bit to play. If you’re one of the many wondering what the Saints Row reboot preload and unlock times are, here’s what you need to know.
How & When to Pre-Load the Saints Row
Saints Row officially launches worldwide on Aug. 23, 2024, but as with many modern video games, you’ll actually be able to download it digitally earlier than release so you can dive right into the action immediately. Preloading begins two days earlier on Aug. 21, 2024. The dates were confirmed by PlayStation Game Size over on Twitter.
Saints Row Reboot Unlock Times
Specific, regional unlock times aren’t disclosed, so we’re assuming that it’s as soon as the clock strikes 12.01 AM local time.
Remember, you’ll obviously only be able to preload Saints Row if you have purchased a digital copy of the game.
What Is the Saints Row Reboot Install Size?
As for the file size, it’s said to come in at around 60 GB on PS4 and 53 GB on PS5, which is fairly modest for a modern AAA title but is subject to increase given that there’s likely to be a day-one update. It could end up as a substantially larger file size once the update is included in the total.
