On Tuesday (25th January 2021), they were exposed to interviews with Poles at Halas Hall. The team included Hall of Fame executive Bill Polian, McCaskey, president/CEO Ted Phillips, Bears vice president of player engagement LaMar “Soup” Campbell, and Tanesha Wade, senior vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Poles’ dedication and leadership left a lasting impression on the squad. They took note of his communication style, composure, intelligence, and confidence in advance.
