Steve Kerr gives an emotional response to school shooting in Texas

The Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was very upset after learning about another school shooting in the USA.

Another instance of a shooting in a school happened in the USA. This has left everyone shocked and begging for help, as the situation in America continues to get worse. This time it was in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

According to reports, 19 children, and 2 teachers were killed in the school shooting. The suspect who was 18 years old, is also dead, and it is reported that he had killed his grandmother also before coming to the school.

The Golden State Warriors were supposed to play the Dallas Mavericks in game 4 of the Western Conference Playoffs. Their head coach Steve Kerr talked to the media. He was distraught and gave a strong speech regarding the incident, and continuous mass shootings in America.

He said, “Not going to talk about basketball. Any basketball questions don’t matter. I’m tired, I’m so tired of getting up here and offering condolences. I’m tired of the moments of silence.”

Warriors’ head coach is a family man, and he knows the feeling of losing loved ones. Especially, when innocent children are getting killed continuously while being at school, it makes living the life very difficult.

Kerr continued and said, “I ask you Mitch McConnell, I ask you senators who refuse to do anything about the violence…are you going to put your own power ahead of the lives of children?…I’m fed up. We can’t get numb to this.” He added, “50 senators in Washington are going to hold us hostage…it’s pathetic. I’ve had enough.”

Everyone around the world was very upset with what happened in Texas. Continous gun crimes in the USA are spoiling their reputation around the world. Various athletes and celebrities showed their frustration towards the incident with their tweets.
