Splatoon 3 is out exclusively on the Switch this September, and in the lead-up to its release, the Squid Research Lab has been sharing new clips, music and information about the game.

The latest update focuses on the Inkbrush and Octobrush weapons. The Inkbrush isn’t the most powerful, but it’s still a handy weapon if you want to make a quick advance while inking up the surrounding turf. The Octobrush makes quite the splash but also uses up a lot of ink with each stroke.

When holding ZR you can use these brushes to sprint at tremendous speed and lay down a ribbon of ink. You can also use rapid-fire brush swings to paint the face of the enemy.

This latest update from Nintendo follows the reveal of a brand new Splatoon 3-themed Switch OLED model. It comes with matching Joy-Con and a dock. A themed Switch Pro Controller will also be made available separately.
