Nikkita Lyons reacts to her injury after pulling out of NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament 

WWE NXT 2.0 star Nikkita Lyons was supposed to face Fallon Henly in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. However, WWE announced that she had been removed from the competition due to an undisclosed injury.

As a result, Tiffany Stratton replaced her in the match and even advanced to the finals after defeating Henly convincingly. Lyons took to Twitter and reacted to her injury after the show. She thanked all the fans who wished for her speedy recovery and said she is more determined now.

Lyons was a favourite while entering the Women’s Breakout Tournament mainly because of his presence and how strong she is. However, luck is not on her side for this time, but she will definitely bounce back.

Nikkita Lyons reveals her injury, which forced her out of the Women’s Breakout Tournament

Nikkita took to her Instagram on Wednesday and revealed that she suffered a partial tear on her MCL. The injury forced her to reconsider her plans for the tournament and eventually kept her out of it. 

However, she won’t need surgery and will be cured and fit through rehab. She was replaced by Tiffany Stratton, who will now square off against Roxanne Perez in the tournament finals. Perez beat Lash Legend to advance into the finals. The winner will get a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship against Mandy Rose.

Nikkita recently did an interview with Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast. She revealed what it was like to work with former women’s champion. 

“Oh my goodness, she is wonderful. She is the sweetest person, and I’m just grateful. Put it this way, she texted me this morning to see how my knee was doing. She is such a sweetheart and so great to work with. I just loved working with her, and I can’t wait to do it again if I have the opportunity.” (H/T: Wrestling Inc)
