In the interview, Suda made a comparison between the production quality of his Grasshopper studios before being acquired by NetEase and after being acquired and the transformation was not just huge, but majestic. Suda went on to appreciate the support he had been getting from NetEase and hopes to announce a new game by the end of 2024. Suda also went ahead and said that he’d want to start a second project soon focused more on the younger developers of the studio wherein they would get more control in the development narrative of the project just so he could see what the younger generation of his company had to offer.

Nagoshi on the other hand said that ever since starting his own studio, he had been learning a lot from the game developers from NetEase while sharing everything he knew about the game dev industry and how to steer around the waves. He also said that there were technologies that both he and NetEase had a prolific amount of experience in which the other didn’t and so, both he and the parent company of his studio had a lot to learn from the other.

With even more games also being announced such as the Mobile version of Dead by Daylight, Once be Human, Vikingard, among others, it is safe to say that NetEase is not going to have a shortage of games to release this year or the next. What remains is for everyone to get to actually play the exciting titles that have been announced.
