Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Reveals QoL Updates Coming Later This Month

Last week, Capcom announced its second free title update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak would be arriving in “late” September.

Apart from the addition of the Flaming Espinas and several other monsters, the DLC will also be receiving some enhancements in other areas. As showcased by the official Monster Hunter Twitter account, this update will also be adding some quality of life improvements.

Firstly, shortcut loadouts will be increased to eight, and players will now also be able to lock their armour, to prevent it from being “accidentally” sold. Here’s the rundown, courtesy of game director Yoshitake Suzuki:

Regular hunters will no doubt appreciate these quality of life improvements, and there’s likely more to come.

This second free title update will be followed by another one in the winter – adding several monsters, and eventually more new content in 2024. Last week Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak also received an update:
