EA Sports is back again this year with another iteration of its long-running football game series, which is destined to be every bit as popular as it always is. And if you’re one of the many planning on picking it up, here’s what you need to know about the Madden 23 install size on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, XB1, and PS4 so that you can clear the appropriate amount of HDD space.

The Madden 23 install size isn’t something we have information about for every platform as of right now. We do, however, know its size on Xbox Series X|S since the game is already available for download, and the total is surpisingly low.
The file size at the time of writing is only 46.14 GB this year, which is far less than it was last year for Madden 22. Its predecessor was 61 GB.
That being said, it’s worth noting the file size could be substantially more if there’s a day-one patch for the game, as is typical for many modern titles these days. If there’s a big update, it could bring the total file size closer to last year’s.
Also, the file size is likely to vary between different platforms, so you might find that while the game is 46 GB on Xbox it could be smaller or large on PlayStation platforms. Of course, once we have that information we’ll update this article.
