It is all the more confirmed by now that Jones will face the Stipe Miocic, the best heavyweight fighter of all time for his return. However, it has emerged now that Miocic will not be at his best in July, and would like to set up the fight for September. Although it ruins Jon’s plans, he is willing to wait back patiently and fight Stipe when he’s best prepared.

Jones posted a Tweet saying, ‘Stipe is saying that he will be at his absolute peak in September. I’m disappointed but patient, I want the heavyweight goat at his absolute best. I’ll wait until September. No excuses’

To set a stake with Jon Jones opening as a -200 favorite, you would need to bet $200 to win $100 if he wins. If you like the Miocic odds, a $100 bet would net you $170 if the former heavyweight champion gets the job done. Although Jones hasn’t fought since February, 2020 it is no surprise that he still remains a massive crowd and betting favorite.

Miocic on the other hand is coming off a vicious knockout loss to current champion Francis Ngannou, and he will be looking forward to spoiling Jon’s homecoming party.
