Shane Crawford is not married. He has been in a long-term relationship with Olivia Anderson. Charlie (born in 2006), Benjamin (born in 2008), and twins Jack and Harry are the four sons of Crawford and Olivia Anderson. Justin and Andrew are his brothers. Shane Crawford was born in September 1974 and is now 47 years old. He spent his childhood in New South Wales and payer junior football with the Finley Football Club. He went to boarding school at Assumption College in Kilmore and was selected by Hawthorn as the 13th pick in the 1991 AFL draft. He became a captain in 1999 and won the AFL’s top individual honours.

In 1998, 1999, 2002, and 2003, he won four Hawthorn Best & Fairest Awards. In the 2003 Brownlow, he tied for fourth place but lost to the victors by one vote. He also played on the Hawthorn team that won the 2008 championship.
