Playing with friends is as easy as ever!
LEGO’s own Smash Bros. type of game, LEGO Brawls has finally made the jump from iOS onto many gaming platforms! This leap allows for even more players to engage online with others as they battle for supremacy as their favorite LEGO heroes. With a humongous influx of new players comes the want for online connectivity to play and socialize with friends across multiple gaming platforms. So, today we’ll be exploring whether or not LEGO Brawls includes cross-play and how you can play with friends online. Let’s check it out!
Is Lego Brawls Crossplay?
The big question when it comes to LEGO Brawls is whether or not you can play with friends across the various different gaming platforms that the game released on. Luckily for players, the answer is yes! Players across all platforms can indeed play with each other without worry. In fact, the way to do this is actually quite simple. Cross-play is enabled by default when you boot the game so for players that may not want to play with gamers outside of their specific gaming platform, this can be toggled off.
Here’s how:
- From the game’s main menu, head to the very top right of the screen to the white gear and select it.
- Next, scroll down to the bottom of this Settings screen.
- Under Cross-play, you can toggle whether you want to play across All Networks or your console’s own designated network.
- Make your choice and it’s locked in.
How to Add and Play With Your Friends
When it comes to playing with your friends across any gaming platform, all you have to do is share your codes with each other. The way it works is that the host is given a code when they start a lobby and players need to input that code in order to join. Let’s explain how to do each side of things!
Hosting
- From the LEGO Brawls main menu, select Party.
- From there, choose either Versus (8-player) or Co-Op (4-player).
- You’ll find your 7-digit invite code on the right side of the screen next to your brawler.
- Give that invite code to your friends in order for them to join.
- Once everyone you’ve invited has joined, start the game.
Joining
- From the LEGO Brawls main menu, select Party.
- Next, choose the Invite Code Option from the bottom of the list.
- Once given your 7-digit invite code by the lobby’s host, enter it.
- From there, just wait for the rest of the lobby to fill up and for the host to start the game.
