Is Johnny Gat in the Saints Row Reboot?
Although this charismatic criminal has as been instrumental in the rise of the Saints, the answer is, unfortunately, no, Johnny Gat is not in the Saints Row Reboot. The fact is that this is a retelling of the Saints’ origin story driven by players’ choice, and Volition wanted to start fresh with a new slate of characters.
Instead of a predetermined gang, players can customize their own boss and lead their crew on the road to dominating all the other factions in the city and making the Saints the best gang there ever was. As disappointing as it is, having your own boss lead the way makes a whole world of difference.
With that said, you will definitely find some great callbacks to the old games, including some that reference Gat and some of your other favorites from the first four games in the series.
