And games like Alien Isolation have only made gamers enjoy the series even more. But for every game we get that’s good, there is an Aliens Colonial Marines, trying to kill the franchise. But thankfully, killing off the Aliens franchise will take more than that. These are Xenomorphs, after all.

Hell yes! Aliens: Fireteam Elite is the latest co-op horde shooter that sees gamers return to the fringes of space working for Weyland-Yutani. The game features a three-player co-op, with solo play options available if you would rather be accompanied by Synthetics than living and breathing badass space marines.

Yes, this game is indeed co-op multiplayer, but sadly, not couch co-op. I guess you can’t have it all. But finding three friends who are as into it as you and just running into that world blasting is its own reward. And it really does wash the taste of Colonial Marines out of our mouths.
