AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. The band was founded by Malcom and Angus Young. Over the years their music has been described as hard rock, blues rock and heavy metal. The band themselves have called their music Rock and Roll. Their band has changed their line-up several times before they released their first album High Voltage. The band announced their reunion in 2020, six years after their previous album.

Yes, AC/DC are still together and making music. They announced their album Power Up in October 2020, six years after their previous album. They started teasing the album in September 2020 when they updated their social media with a short video clip. On 30th September they confirmed that Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams would also be returning. 

AC/DC 2024 Tour

AC/DC has not announced a tour this year. They made an announcement on Instagram that there were people who were scamming their fans into buying fake tour tickets. There have been a lot of rumours that they are going on tour but for now, no official tour has been confirmed. When they announce their tour, this article will be updated.

Angus Young

Angus Young is an Australian musician best known for being part of the band AC/DC. He is the co-founder of the band, the lead guitarist and songwriter. Angus Young is known for his energetic performances and schoolboy-uniform stage outfits. He was ranked No 24 on Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest guitarists of all time. AC/DC were included as part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.  

Phil Rudd

Phil Rudd is an Australian drummer and is best known for being part of the Rock and Roll band AC/DC. After Mark Evans left the band in 1977, he became the only Australian born member of the band. In 2003, he and the band were entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On 30 September, AC/DC announced that he would be coming back to join the band. 

Cliff Williams

Cliff Williams is an English musician best known for being the bassist and vocalist for AC/DC. He started his career in 1967 and was previously in the groups Home and Bandit. His first album with AC/DC was Powerage in 1978. He announced his retirement from the band in 2016 but came back when the band announced their album Power Up in 2020. 

Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is an English singer and songwriter. In 1980 he became the third lead singer of the band AC/DC after the death of Bon Scott. He and the band joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. In March 2016, due to hearing problems, he took a step back from the band. He rejoined the band in 2020 when they announced they were coming back.

Stevie Young

Stevie Young is a Scottish musician and the rhythm guitarist for the band AC/DC. He joined the band in 2014 for the album Rock or Bust. He was not announced as an official member of the band until September of that year. He replaced Malcolm Young, his uncle, in the band. He has filled in for his uncle before during the 1988 US tour.
