MultiVersus is a new brawler video game that features characters from all across the Warner Bros. empire. While the game does allow for single-player action, the primary focus for playing is with others online. The following is how to play MultiVersus’ Online Multiplayer.
How to Play Online in MultiVersus
It is worth noting that there are actually quite a few ways to play with both friends and random people online in MultiVersus.
- The first thing you need to do is click on the giant orange play button in the bottom middle of the home screen.
- You can then immediately jump into an online match.
There are four modes to choose from: Teams, 1 vs 1, Co-op vs AI, and FFA.
- Once you have chosen the modes that you prefer, you will then be brought to a character select screen.
It is here that you can choose to bring a friend who is also playing MultiVersus to join you by clicking on the plus icon, as shown above.
- There is also the option to create a custom game.
Here you can create a custom game lobby where you can invite friends to play in custom matches to which you can even add bots if you so choose.
