How does Tale of Two wastelands work?
Tale of Two Wastelands is a total conversion project that seamlessly merges Fallout 3 and its DLC into Fallout: New Vegas, allowing both games to be played in a single playthrough. It upgrades Fallout 3’s mechanics to those of FNV without compromising the feel and balance of the original. All DLC is required.
Is Tales of two wastelands good?
I would absolutely recommend it. The way they tie the two games together is very fluid, and you can start in either the Mojave or the Capital. It makes more sense to start in the Capital, obviously, but it works fairly well either way.

Another way to check is pretty simple. Type “coc megatontown” into the console. If TTW is working, then you should teleport right outside Megaton. (but, even if you do teleport, there could still be some other bugs somewhere from an improper installation.)

You first install TTW 3.2 and then the updates in order. After that you download the updated JIP LN NVSE Plugin and install that. The script extender (NVSE) ships with TTW. If you don’t want to do any further modding that should be all you will need.

I did basically the same thing and so far it seems to be working fine. Just takes a little bit of getting familiar with it. It does take a little bit of work though if you want to modify your load order.

TTW is a total conversion, it is not an NV mod and has not been since 3. x was released. There is no guarantee any NV mod will work other than the ones in our recommended list. If you want to use a bunch of mods, don’t use TTW.

If you still want to uninstall, your method depends on how you installed. If you installed using a FOMOD you can just uninstall using a mod manager and you are good. If you did a manual install you need to delete all TTW + Fallout3 + DLC related ESMs and BSAs from your data folder and you should be set.

Well, this isn’t a comprehensive list, but TTW does add the following things: New weapon mods for some of Fallout 3’s and Fallout 3’s DLC weapons. These include some for the Chinese Assault Rifle, G3 Assault Rifle, Infiltrator, Chinese Pistol, . 22 LR Revolver and Combat Shotgun.

Very Usable and very good range / quality. Some perks can even be made into traits if you use the GECK. I converted it but FakeEmpire hasn’t replied to me asking permission to post it.
