How To Get Type 1 Chip in Tower of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasy’s Type 1 Chip is a password item you can use to open Chest 1 (also known as Type 1 Password Chests) objects throughout the game. In return, you’ll get a few rewards and valuable items that will boost your character’s performance.
You can obtain this specific item by doing Bounty Missions or accessing them through Weekly Mission Rewards. But, you’ll first need to unlock these features by progressing more in the game.
Players will still get Type 1 Chips at the beginning of Tower of Fantasy by simply playing the story missions. Once you acquire one, you can look around Astra to find a Type 1 Password Chest, which should be a straightforward process. Additionally, you’ll be prompted to unlock the chest by choosing a Perfect or Forced Decipher; it’s best if you choose the first option because it will give you more exclusive items than the second option.
After you’ve played through most of the beginning, you’ll unlock a new sword icon at the top-right corner, as shown here:
This gameplay component in TOF is one of your main sources of getting the Type 1 Chip, and you can check to see if you already earned some rewards from past adventures in the Weekly Mission Rewards.
