Changing camera angles and settings in Madden 23 is incredibly important if you’re not a fan of the default options, or if you just want to zoom in or out to get a better look of the action or the spread of your players on the field.
There are two options available for players to change when it comes to the cameras. They can immediately zoom the camera in and out on-the-fly in-game, and they can also change the camera angle entirely if they’re not a fan of the default.
Zooming Camera In & Out in Madden 23
You can change camera angles in Madden 23 by pressing up and down on the d-pad on both PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Pressing up on the d-pad will cause the camera to move in closer on the action, giving you a more detailed look at what’s going on at field-level.
Pressing down will have the camera zoom out, giving you a bigger FOV to see where your players are positioned so you can make that killer run or sure up your defensive line.
Each press of up or down on the d-pad will zoom the camera further in or out, so you can make gradual changes to find the distance that’s best suited to how you like to play, or to find a happy medium between the two.
Changing Camera Angle in Madden 23
If you want to change the camera angle entirely, you can press the Options/ Menu button and go to ‘Options’ and then ‘Settings.’ From here, select ‘Visual Feedback’ and then scroll down to the ‘Cameras’ subheading.
Here, you’ll find a variety of different camera perspectives for offensive and defensive plays.
