Weapon ascension is a key part of Tower of Fantasy, and familiarizing yourself with this system will definitely make your character even more powerful in combat. Here’s how to ascend weapons to 1-star and beyond in Tower of Fantasy.
Ascending Weapons in Tower of Fantasy
In order to ascend a weapon in Tower of Fantasy and increase its star rating, you’ll need dupes of that particular weapon. The only way to get duplicates is by pulling on the various banners in the game and hope that you get lucky. If you’re looking to ascend SSR weapons, your chances of pulling dupes will be a lot slimmer, but you should be able to ascend some of your SR weapons along the way.
Here’s what you need to do to ascend them:
- Pull on the gacha banners to obtain a duplicate weapon.
- Press Esc and select Weapons.
- Choose the weapon you want to upgrade and select Advancement.
- Click on the Advancement button in the bottom right corner to consume the weapon fusion core you got from the duplicate to ascend it.
What Weapon Ascension and Advancement Does
Advancing your weapons is a great way to boost the base stats of that particular weapon, and it can also grant you some bonus perks. Advancement works similarly to the Constellation system in Genshin Impact, where obtaining duplicates will give your weapons extra abilities as they star up.
Duplicates certainly aren’t necessary for completing all PvE content in the game, but if you’re hoping to excel in PvP, they’ll be invaluable.
