UK Charts: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Drops While Switch Sports Climbs Back Up

After Xenoblade Chronicles 3 took the world by storm, topping the UK charts in physical sales last week, today sees a slight return to normality, with the household players once again taking their positions in the list.

Monolith Soft’s highly acclaimed JRPG may have fallen to 10th in the charts, but this does not serve to belittle its stellar opening week in which the game received the best UK launch of any title in the franchise.

Xenoblade’s decreased position by no means suggests that the game is dead, but the standard Nintendo titles are already circling like vultures at the top of the charts. This week’s data shows Nintendo Switch Sports reclaiming its spot in second place and Pokemon Legends: Arceus reappearing in the top ten after dropping off last week.

As we have come to expect, titles including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe once again cling onto their positions in the top ten, showing that the appetite remains for some friendly Nintendo time.

With no news in the manner of newcomers, there is little more for us to say – here’s this week’s UK top ten:
