Golden State Warriors edge past the Grizzlies in game 4; Leads series 3-1

The Golden State Warriors left it late to go past the Memphis Grizzlies and win game 4, to go 3-1 up in the series.

The Golden State Warriors took a big step toward qualifying for the Western Conference Finals, as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in game 4 of their ongoing 2nd round series. They won the game by a score of 101-98.

This was a great performance by the Warriors in the clutch, as they outscored the Grizzlies 39-29 in the 4th quarter, and kept their composure at the last which earned them a win. Following the win, they are now 3-1 upon the Grizzlies.

Stephen Curry once again led the way for the Warriors as he dropped 32 points, and he was the driving force behind their comeback win. Apart from him, other starters also contributed massively on both ends of the court.

Draymond Green’s defense was once again the deciding factor for the Warriors as he blocked a 3-point shot by Jaren Jackson Jr. which could have tied the game at the end. The Warriors will now look to close out the series in game 5 or 6.

Memphis showed great resilience against the Golden State Warriors

Even though the Memphis Grizzlies were without their best player Ja Morant, they showed great resilience and character. They led the game throughout the match but fell short in the end due to the experience of the Warriors’ players.

Ja might be back in the next game, which will provide a huge boost to them, as they will look to pull a game back to force game 6 back in San Francisco.

In the absence of Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way for the Grizzlies, as he scored 21 points but other players like Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks provided no help. As a result, the Grizzlies got flamed out in the end and lost a big game that they should have won.
