Geoff began his profession as a journalist as soon as he graduated from college. His first work was at Wilmington, New York’s WECT-TV 6. He worked as a sportscaster there for a few years. In 1993, he became a sports director for the WYFF network in Greenville. He served as a sports director for the WYFF news 4 channel for numerous years, and his eighteen years with the channel came to an end in 2021.
