Cor, this Annapurna Interactive Showcase today was full of bangers. We’re not used to so many Switch announcements!
One of those bangers is The Pathless, a gorgeous bird-friend simulator in which you play as The Hunter, an archer who teams up with their eagle companion to attempt to save the world through swooshy traversal and fluid bow-and-arrow work.
It’s flippin’ gorgeous, too, with design from Journey and Abzu art director Matt Nava:
Also, if you’re a Troy Baker fan, he’s the bad guy in this game. Laura Bailey, AKA Rise from Persona 4, Abby from The Last of Us 2, and Catherine in, uh, Catherine, plays The Hunter.
The Pathless will be on the Nintendo Switch this Winter.
