F1 2024 developers, Codemasters have confirmed that the game is set to be launched for users worldwide on July 1

The latest edition of the official F1 franchise video game – F1 2024 comes this July with an exclusive Champions Edition. This new edition is an addition besides the usual Standard Edition. The champions edition cover features Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.

The Champions Edition of F1 2024 will cost you £79.99, although you can save 10% if you’re a member of EA Play, the EA subscription service. That would make it £71.99, which is a small but worthy saving.

Users will get 3 days early access, meaning you can play F1 2024 from June 28th. There will be exclusive access to F1 Life starter pack. F1 Life is touted, per the Formula 1 website, as a customisable hub to show off supercars, clothing and accessories earned via gameplay, Podium Pass and the in-game store. Champions Edition purchasers will get new My Team Icon and 18,000 PitCoin, the in-game currency of F1 22. There is also the benefit of the Dual Entitlement Upgrade which means you can upgrade your copy to PS5 at no additional cost.

F1 2024 is presently available to pre-order

Users can now pre-order the game a month before it’s officially released. By pre-ordering the Champions Edition before May 16, players will get three days of early access and a time-limited Miami-inspired content pack. Pre-order also bring with exciting bonus packs. This edition of the F1 official game sees the return of ‘My Team’ and ‘Career Mode’ with slight modifications.

The new edition of the game comes with a number of modifications. It includes the new Miami circuit besides layout changes to the likes of Australia and Abu Dhabi, F1 Sprint events and the new era of Formula 1 cars with overhauled rules. It will also include PC VR functionality via Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Players have a chance to step further into the glamourous world of F1 with ‘F1 Life’ – a customisable hub to show off supercars, clothing and accessories earned via gameplay, Podium Pass and the in-game store.
