Enola Holmes is an English-language American-British mystery-thriller film directed by Harry Bradbeer. It is based on the young adult novel of the same name, The Case of the Missing Marquess, written by Nancy Springer. It is a story about the teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes, who travels to London to find her mother. During the journey, she meets with a runaway lord; together, they attempt to solve a mystery that has been threatening the entire country. It stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter. It was released on 23 September 2020 and is set to release in theatres by Warner Bros. Pictures; later, distributed to Netflix due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The duration of the film is 2 hours 3 minutes. An upcoming film on Enola Holmes 2 is still in production and set to be released in 2024.
