Similar to its predecessor, Destiny 2 is filled to the brim with a handful of tricky quests that may baffle you. A Spark of Hope is one of the difficult quests in the game that unlocks after the New Light prologue. Destiny 2 – How to Begin A Spark of Hope Quest
To start this quest, you must complete the New Light challenge first. After that, you’ll be able to travel inside The Tower, where almost all of the NPC spawns. Once in The Tower, find the Postmaster, an NPC who tracks all the loot you’ve missed so far. The Postman can be identified by a green icon.
Once you’ve found the Postmaster, head to the terminal to his left. From this terminal, you can pick older quests that have been removed from the world. You can also find the “A Spark of Hope” challenge in the massive list of quests. Simply, pick it up to start the “A Spark of Hope” challenge.
How to Complete A Spark of Hope Quest
Follow these steps after activating the “A Spark of Hope” quest:
- Speak with Zavala, Ikora, and Devrim.
Zavala – He is the leader of the Titans who spawns inside the Tower.
Ikora – After reaching level 20, Ikora Rey can also be found inside the Tower.
Devrim – He can be found on Earth, at the EDZ!
Make sure you talk to them in the above-mentioned order.
- Go to Trostland and clear out the following Lost Sectors.
There are 3 Lost Sectors in Trostland, which feature the locations of the following Lost Sectors:
– Atrium
– Terminus East
– Widow’s Walk
- Navigate to the Tower and talk to Devrim.
After clearing out all the three Lost Sectors, visit the Tower again and speak with Devrim. This time around, the NPC will task you with completing the “Risk/Reward” quest for the Cosmodrome.
- Complete the Risk/Reward quest.
Here are the steps to complete this quest:
1. Defeat Dusk Captains
2. Find the Locked Gate
3. Traverse the Chasm
4. Take Arc Conductors from the table
5. Enter Fallen Nest
- Defeat Fallen enemies.
Completing the Risk/Reward quest will grant you exotic weapons which you have to test by defeating some Fallen Enemies.
- Speak with Zavala to finish the “A Spark of Hope” quest.
Zavala spawns in the Tower alongside other NPCs. Finally, speak to the NPC to complete the quest.
Once you’ve finished the “A Spark of Hope” quest, you will get to choose between Sunshot, Riskrunner, or Graviton Lance as a part of the reward. Choose any one exotic weapon as per your taste.
