Dave worked for the Washington Post from 1977 to 1984. He then worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution from 1984 until 1989. Kindred worked for National Sports Daily after leaving the Atlanta Journal-Constitution until 1991. He then returned to Atlanta Paper in 1995, where he remained until 1997.
