PlatinumGames is having quite the week. After finally announcing the release date of Bayonetta 3, they’ve now announced that their retro-style vertical shmup Sol Cresta will be getting a Collector’s Edition on Switch and PS4.
The game already has a physical version available through Limited Run Games, but this new version will be published and sold by SuperDeluxe, a Japanese retailer of games. SuperDeluxe’s version of the game is subtitled “Dramatic Edition”, although it’s not clear what that means. The game will be available in Japanese and English, with no region lock.
Here’s what the Collector’s Edition contains alongside a physical copy of the game:
- Collector’s Edition box
- Miniature arcade cabinet
- Metal replica of the Yamato
- Postcards
- Pin badge
- Gold and silver sol medal (1 each)
- Acrylic figures
- Two-disc soundtrack CD
Both the Collector’s Edition and Standard Edition are now available to pre-order, with the former being shipped out in February 2024, and the latter on the 3rd November, 2024. Here are the links:
