The former AEW TNT Champion reacted to a report of MJFโs situation with the AEW contract. He took to Twitter and said he hopes that MJF doesnโt sign a contract.

According to Fightful Select, Friedman is leaning towards leaving AEW when his contract expires in 2024. While a lot can change between now and then, the report noted that the young star has not been open to re-negotiating his current deal or a contract extension.ย
Friedman previously stated that he will be wrestling where the money isย
โI will be wherever the money is,โ MJF said onย The Ariel Helwani Showย in March. โI am leaning, but I canโt say which way, but Iโm certainly leaning. There is a frontrunner, and Iโm not quite sure itโs the one people would expect, but yes, there is a frontrunner.โ
It is to note that Friedman, Guevara, Jungle Boy and Darby Allin were previously billed as The Four Pillars of AEW by AEW President Tony Khan.
