Activision has just revealed the new logo for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Here is everything you need to know.
Activision recently revealed the logo for its upcoming Modern Warfare 2 game, which ignited a fire among Call of Duty fans. Captain Price and Task Force 141, fan favorites from the first game, will return in this sequel.
Modern Warfare 2 is a follow-up to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot, rather than a remake of the original Modern Warfare 2. Aside from the logo, no further information regarding the game was revealed. This was done through the use of an animated teaser created specifically for the occasion and incorporating the old Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 green motif. Fans were immediately drawn to this easter egg and are eager to discover what the next Call of Duty game has in store for them.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Logo
On April 28, the Infinity Ward and Call of Duty social media accounts revealed the new Modern Warfare 2 logo, confirming the news that CoD fans all around the world had been waiting for.
There was no Warzone 2 logo to accompany the Modern Warfare 2 one shared via the Call of Duty social media channels, but Activision has already confirmed a new free-to-play Warzone game.
CoD Modern Warfare 2 Gameplay
The Call of Duty franchise has a pretty established gameplay mechanism and we can expect the same to be featured in the new iteration. It is a traditional first person shooter game with various different weapons and game modes. Each weapon has its own unique playstyle and changes your gameplay considerably.
But keep it in mind that Activision has not made any official announcement and this is just speculation. We can also expect to see some new features after all it is the ‘new era’ of Call of Duty.
