The first 129 episodes of the American comedy Becker were broadcast by CBS from November 2, 1998, to January 28, 2004. The sitcom, which was filmed in the Bronx neighbourhood of New York City, stars Ted Danson as John Becker, a cranky doctor who runs a small clinic and is perpetually irritated by his clients, staff members, acquaintances, and pretty much everything else in his life. Despite everything, Becker’s clients and associates remain devoted to him because he genuinely cares about them. In collaboration with Paramount Network Television, Dave Hackel Productions and Industry Entertainment produced the show.
