ATP Men’s and Women’s ranking update ahead of French Open

Here’s a look at the latest ATP Men’s and Women’s rankings ahead of the 2024 Roland Garros.

The French Open is already upon us with the Grand Slam qualifiers taking place this week. The Roland Garros is one of the oldest clay-court tournaments in the world and will feature some of the top players from across the globe as well.

The two-week-long tournament had already begun on May 16th with its main draw on May 22nd and the event will conclude on June 5th. The Grand Slam event will be held at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France.

The top-seeded players in the Men’s and Women’s Singles event will be playing in the main draw and can avoid taking part in the qualifiers. However, the draw also helps players in getting potentially easier matches against opponents if they are closer to the top seed.

The seeded players are determined by the ratings and performances over the course of other events during the ATP season. A total of 32 players from the Men’s and Women’s events will be seeded players at the Roland Garros this year.
